About Us We emphasize, teach, and preach the Bible because it has the answers we need to face life’s most important issues.  We subscribe to no human creed, and acknowledge the written word of God as our only rule of Faith.             History The Cold Springs congregation is known as the oldest congregation of the Church of Christ in Dallas County. Invitation We hope you will accept our invitation to study and worship with us. Our Bible classes are dedicated to an open investigation of what the Bible actually says. Our worship is organized using the same activities you can read about in the New Testament. We sing hymns designed to praise God, we pray, study the Word, partake in the Lord’s Supper, and give an offering to the Lord. You can be assured that as a guest, we will treat you with honor and will not seek to embarrass you. We will not call on you to lead any element of worship, we will not ask you to make a donation or sign any agreement, nor will you be singled out for special attention when the invitation is given. Yet, should you have any questions about anything we say or do, we will be happy to provide an answer.             Sadly, many people are going through life without  any real purpose. They eat, sleep, work, and die. But the only way to find purpose and happiness is to live a proper life before God. Solomon, the ancient king, set out to discover happiness and the meaning of life. At the end of his search, he gave his decision in Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, “This is the end of the matter; all has been heard: Fear God and keep His commandments; for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it be good or whether it be evil.”             If the Lord were to return today, are you absolutely certain He would take you home with Him to Heaven for eternity? There is no need for you to live in doubt and fear. Let us study the Bible with you. Together we will find the answer God’s Word provides for such vital questions.             At the Cold Springs church of Christ, we are eager for all interested souls to come and visit with us.
